2021 NABOB & POWER OF URBAN RADIO CONFERENCE

The 2021 NABOB & Power of Urban Radio Conference in partnership with the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., marked a historic event, a significant milestone in NABOB's 45-year history as a leading voice for Black-owned broadcasters within the traditional broadcast media landscape. Dimensions Media played a crucial role in this successful execution, seamlessly integrating digital elements and producing a seamless on-site and streaming broadcast experience. This impactful event connected over 1,500 in-person and virtual attendees across generations and multiple levels of media from broadcast owners and executives to sales teams, content creators, and digital publishers, amplifying Black voices within the industry.

Dimensions Media: Producing the 2021 NABOB & Power of urban radio Awards

For 45 years, The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters has held the prestigious NABOB Awards during the organization’s Fall Management Conference. In 2021, the esteemed tradition continued as a hybrid event recognizing key figures within media, policy, and advertising who have been instrumental in helping to further NABOB’s mission, reach, and impact. Previous honorees include Attorney General Eric Holder, award winning journalist, April Ryan, civil rights activist and comedian Dick Gregory, Edna Kane-Williams of AARP and Marc Pritchard of P&G to name a few.

Dimensions Media produced, scripted, and led the creative direction for the 45th NABOB & Power of Urban Radio Awards, a captivating ceremony hosted by on-air personalities Frank Ski and Nina Brown of “The Frank Ski Show with Nina Brown” live from a studio at the MGM National Harbor Resort.
