THE CHALLENGE

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB), a 47-year-old organization, lacked a dedicated marketing and communications department, resulting in an outdated brand identity and inconsistent communication and public relations efforts. Additionally, the organization had a limited digital presence, hindering its ability to engage with its membership and the broader media industry.

THE SOLUTION

To address NABOB’s need for a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, Dimensions Media stepped in to develop an operational infrastructure to provide a full range of services. By revitalizing the organization’s brand identity, developing an omnichannel communications presence, and building media relationships, we empowered NABOB to engage its membership and the broader media industry.

Our team of experienced professionals delivered over 30 creative services, including brand development, digital marketing, content creation, event planning, public relations, graphic design, web development, and video production.

As a result of our efforts, NABOB’s brand mentions increased by 124%, newsletter open rates increased by 32%, website pageviews increased by 58%, data collection increased by 300%, a curated content library was established, and significant media placements and coverage were secured. Furthermore, Dimensions Media played a pivotal role in executing efforts for the General Motors Diverse Owned Media Incubator Fund and the distribution of the historic BIA Black Radio Ownership & Revenue Report.
